I'm not sure do I like this.... so much. I kinda failed this somehow, looks messy or something. I can't shade with that style. xD Aaand those characters are Coraline, GTD and Destiny. ^^
I guess we're palying................ Maaariooo! 8D Yes! Oooomg I want to play with ya<3 You awesome friends! :'') I drew this for you two... Even I don't like it that much. Xd
First of all, bravo on those poses. They look spectacular and I can feel the motion of the players. I love the different expressions, particularly the one in the center. She is so into it, I love it!
There are two things I think could bring more life to this delightfully energetic piece.
First, your lines are very smooth and nice, but I feel like I want something more from them. Maybe color them, or vary the thickness. As they are they feel like a bit of a distraction. Lines can be used to help suggest form with their varying thickness. Give it a shot, I think it will really pump up your drawing!
Second is your shading. You are clearly paying attention to light source, and it looks good! I would suggest adding some harder edges to some of your shadows. They feel a little too smooth and air brushy. Some shadows are sharp. Places like the purple dragon's right hand (to our left) where the shadow doesn't quite meet the edge distract from your drawing. Edges like that are important.
The scenery in the window in the back almost feels like an after thought, and isn't quite up to the quality of the rest of the image. This makes it distracting, and it detracts from the rest of the picture. I would look at some simple scenery photos or watch/read some environment painting tutorials/videos. They can be quite inspiring and helpful
I hope that was any help. I really like this picture! Good luck!
I really like how you drew the lighting coming from the television! The shading goes really well with this photo! I think that has to be one of my favorite parts :3
Sooo, i wanna talk about the dragons!
The pink ones expression is awesome! Shes all like "YEHAOW!" haha you drew her anatomy very well, and the shading on her is great aswell! I dont know why but i think you drew the wii remote in her hand perfectly!! It has the right position and fits very well with her paw! Epic job on her!
Now the orange dragon looks like she has the same expression on her face! Still epic!! I think that there facing Goldey in a game.... there ganging up on you The shading on that is good too! And the wii remote is pointing right at us!! The anatomy on her is awesome aswell, it look perfect!!
Now for... GOLDEY!
her expressions all like "WACHOW! IM KICKING BOTH OF YOUR BUTTZ!" I litterally laughed at her expression! Its so funny! Shes standing on a teddy bear! Shes killing him!! Noeess! XD Her anatomy is well also! But she looks really short! But thats alright, still looks good. The shading on her is good as well, since shes right in the middle of the television, she should have the most shading, and to my eyes, she does :3 I think this is a really epic piece of work! Seriously! Its really good!
Now the backround look nice! Are they in Goldeys bedroom playing wii?? WHAT GAME!? haha i really like this picture, and its just.... EPIC!
Ok, I left a critique on this with a lot of advice XD I hope I didn't sound like an ass I thought this was a much newer image. It was on the "newest" tab under critiquable o_o I can see that youve improved quite a lot since this picture as well. So sorry about the random critique. I thought this was new.
